Locke High School Literacy Event with City Year
February 28th, 3:20 – 4:20 pm at Alain LeRoy Locke High School
All students at Locke High School are invited to come and pick out free books from hundreds of high-interest titles at this Literacy Event put on in collaboration with City Year. Trained teen volunteers from Locke will be available to help their peers select books and talk about what they love to read.

Are you a teen who loves reading and talking about books?
Become a volunteer at our teen literacy events! We'll train you to become an official book expert to help other teens find and take home the perfect books. Once you're trained, you'll be able to volunteer at any of our teen literacy events across LA County.
