Safe Place for Youth Literacy Event
December 10th, 2019 1:00 – 4:00 pm at S.P.Y.’s Access Center
We are joining in a holiday celebration for members of Safe Place for Youth. This organization seeks to inspire, nurture and empower the resilient human spirit of homeless youth by providing immediate and lasting solutions, one young person at a time. With the help of trained volunteers (who are also members of S.P.Y.), youth attending the celebration will be invited to select 2 free books in addition to other winter essentials, like sleeping bags and coats.

Are you a teen who loves reading and talking about books?
Become a volunteer at our teen literacy events! We'll train you to become an official book expert to help other teens find and take home the perfect books. Once you're trained, you'll be able to volunteer at any of our teen literacy events across LA County.
