It’s time to start getting ready for The Book Truck’s 3RD ANNUAL Read–a–thon!! This year we have some really exciting news!! An anonymous donor has offered to match ALL donations dollar for dollar up to $5,000.00 – in honor of our founder and executive director, Elizabeth!! Sign up here to donate or join the fun!!
This is a virtual event, so you can read from anywhere!! Also, feel free to read by yourself or with a group of friends!! On the day of the event, check in with us on social media! Prize drawings will happen every hour. So far, prizes include Out of Print Clothing prize packs, gift certificates to Children’s Book World, candles from Frostbeard Studio, and more!! Are you a teen who loves reading and talking about books?
Become a volunteer at our teen literacy events! We'll train you to become an official book expert to help other teens find and take home the perfect books. Once you're trained, you'll be able to volunteer at any of our teen literacy events across LA County.
