2019 Book Truck Read-a-thon!!
December 8th, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Spend the day reading to fight the literacy crisis for homeless, foster care, and low-income teens!! There will be prize drawings throughout the day! It’s a virtual event so you can participate from anywhere! You can do the read-a-thon by yourself, or meet up with friends!!

Are you a teen who loves reading and talking about books?
Become a volunteer at our teen literacy events! We'll train you to become an official book expert to help other teens find and take home the perfect books. Once you're trained, you'll be able to volunteer at any of our teen literacy events across LA County.
